What’s this all about?
“One Million Monocles” is the working title for a software application in the making for Mac OS X. It’s like “spaces” but then for files. And it’s the digital manifestation of years of pondering, observing, discussing and thinking about how to make our lives easier, when it comes to dealing with computer files. Over time, this manifesto will serve as a place to grasp the essence of what all those Monocles should, and should not do.
